Audience Feedback

After creating my trailer I asked my family and friends to watch it to give me some honest feedback, for the feedback I created a little questionnaire asking questions about how the film was. (Below is a copy of my questionnaire.)

The questions which I have asked mainly are specific questions but there are two questions which give a open discussion about what where the good/bad points of the trailer, these two are critical to have so that I could make easy adjustments to my film trailer if the majority of my audience gave the same feedback.

I have scanned in some of the feedback sheets I recieved back from my audience.

(To enlarge to read click on the image of the Feedback sheet) As my feedback shows most of the comments are positive meaning I must have done something right. The music was the best thing about it is what I can gather as it really did work well with the images, also how the shots went from one to another this also has been given positive feedback from all people. The only negative things that i did get was that it wasn't suitable for all audiences, was dark in some places and that not enough of other characters got shown but that comment also went on to say maybe it was a good thing. Overall I am very pleased with my feedback and believe I have done a very good job of making it work. Also it being a teaser trailer the one question that I really wanted to find out the answers to was the last one "Did the trailer give away much of the film?" Everyone answered in a similar matter saying that it kept the film a mystery even though it showed some key points. This is just what I wanted them to think so that it would encourage them to go out and see the film.
